Housing-Right Protest Infrastructure

PROJECT OVERVIEW

It is a social and political infrastructure that focuses on housing-right-protection and protest, offering both public housings which are these hanging boxes, and places for protests, like these hanging platforms.

This infrastructure is a new type of architecture. Just as traffic lights manage the flow of traffic, it manages the flow of protests. It sets up a complete mechanism that step by step change an urban infrastructure that many people enjoy resting to a place that people can express their rights, from small gathering, to large-scale protest occupying the whole infrastructure, and to disruption of traffic system. And within this flow-management process, it also embodies the mutual relationships among rights, housing, and social activism and bonds them tighter.
