This project explores the tension between identity and distortion in the digital age. The series reimagines the aesthetic of vintage American comic books, ruptured by glitch manipulations that fragment and reassemble the human figure. These spectral portraits embody both clarity and disintegration, suggesting how technology refracts memory, perception, and the self.
The glitch, often dismissed as an error, becomes a philosophical device that exposes the instability of human presence and the possibility of multiplicity within a single identity. Through fractured geometries and vibrant ruptures of color, the series visualizes an existential paradox, our desire for coherence amid inevitable fragmentation.
