Cohabitat Suite reimagines the future pet-friendly hotel room as a shared retreat where humans and companion animals coexist through comfort, wellness, and carefully integrated design. Rather than treating pet accommodation as an additional service, the room establishes a balanced living environment where both guests follow their own rituals of rest, care, and restoration.
Within the compact 36 m² footprint, the layout organizes a sequence of parallel human and pet experiences. A human bathing area is paired with a dedicated pet spa, while integrated resting spaces, nutrition stations, and hygiene systems allow pets to have their own territory without interrupting the serenity of the guest environment. The room incorporates a concealed pet drying cabinet, self-cleaning relief system, litter enclosure, and customized storage solutions, transforming practical necessities into seamless architectural elements.
The material palette draws inspiration from contemporary ryokan retreats, combining rough natural stone surfaces, warm walnut panels, handcrafted furniture, and soft organic textiles. Durable stone finishes provide resistance and easy maintenance for pet interaction, while natural textures strengthen the emotional connection between interior space and the surrounding landscape.

Technology is intentionally invisible. Automated cleaning, drying, feeding, and environmental systems are embedded within architectural details, supporting hygiene, safety, and convenience without overwhelming the atmosphere of calm. Every element, from pet wellness equipment to human amenities, is designed as part of one continuous hospitality experience.
Cohabitat Suite proposes a new model of pet-friendly hospitality: not a room designed for humans with pets added, but a shared habitat where two forms of life can coexist with equal consideration, comfort, and care.
